Legal, Terms & AI Disclosure

Last updated: 10 July 2026. This page is maintained by The Brand Edit to answer common questions about how AI Brand Shoot operates. It is informational and does not constitute legal advice.

AI Content Disclosure

Images produced through THE PHOTO EDIT are generated using artificial intelligence tools, guided by reference material the client provides. Deliverables are described honestly as AI-generated brand imagery. They are not represented as unedited photographs of real-world events.

Clients agree to use delivered images in a way that does not mislead their audience about the nature of the content where disclosure would reasonably be expected (for example, journalistic, medical, or evidentiary contexts).

Likeness, Consent & Reference Material

By submitting reference photos, the client confirms that they are the person shown, or that they have full permission from the person shown, and that they have the right to have AI imagery generated from those references.

The Brand Edit will not knowingly generate imagery of a third party, a public figure, or a minor from references the client is not entitled to use. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any brief that raises consent, safeguarding, or authenticity concerns.

Acceptable Use

Deliverables must not be used to:

  • Impersonate another real person or brand.
  • Produce sexual, violent, hateful, defamatory, or unlawful content.
  • Mislead consumers about the origin, endorsement, or nature of a product or service.
  • Train, fine-tune, or benchmark other AI or machine learning systems.

Breach of acceptable use terminates the licence granted with the package.

Privacy & Your Data

The Brand Edit is the data controller for personal information submitted through this site and via client onboarding. We collect only what is needed to deliver the service: name, contact details, payment information (processed by our payment provider), and the reference images you send us.

We do not sell your data. We do not upload your reference images or delivered galleries to any public dataset. Reference material and working files are retained for the length of your engagement and then deleted on request, or within a reasonable operational window.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, or to request a copy of our data processing terms, contact hello@thebrand-edit.uk.

Payments, Refunds & Membership

All prices are in GBP and inclusive of any applicable UK VAT unless stated otherwise. One-time packages are payable in full before production begins. The Content Membership requires a minimum three month commitment and renews monthly until cancelled with 30 days notice.

Because deliverables are custom created, refunds are not offered once production has begun. If something is not right, tell us and we will revise it.

Liability

The Brand Edit provides the service with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific package in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to These Terms

We may update this page from time to time to reflect changes in the service, our tooling, or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated to active clients by email.
